JSW Steel & ANDRITZ: Powering Next-Gen Auto Steel by 2028

JSW Steel has partnered with international technology group ANDRITZ to install a new continuous galvanizing line at its Toranagallu plant in Karnataka. Scheduled for start-up in 2028, the facility will produce advanced high-strength steel (AHSS) and other high-quality galvanized grades tailored for the automotive sector. ANDRITZ will manage the complete engineering, manufacturing, and supply of the line. This strategic addition—booked in ANDRITZ's Q2 2026 order intake—will help JSW Steel meet the surging automotive demand for lightweight and electric vehicle materials.
